Role Summary

We’re hiring a Firmware Engineer with robust NVMe/PCIe expertise for one of our client engagements. This is a contract (B2B) opportunity to develop and validate firmware for NVMe/PCIe-based embedded systems, working closely with hardware and systems teams.

Key Skills

- 4–6 years of experience in embedded firmware development
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C and real-time firmware development
- Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, embedded Linux, or similar)
- PCIe protocol experience strongly preferred; NVMe exposure a plus
- Experience with embedded debugging tools and build toolchains




- Experience with Git and version control in embedded development environments

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain firmware for NVMe/PCIe-based embedded products
- Debug and resolve firmware issues related to device enumeration, protocol compliance, and data transfer
- Collaborate with hardware and systems teams on board bring-up and firmware-hardware integration
- Write and execute firmware test plans; validate against relevant protocol compliance requirements
- Document firmware architecture, design decisions, and test results
