Job Purpose : To ensure seamless production execution by effectively planning, scheduling, and controlling manufacturing activities while ensuring timely availability of materials and efficient logistics operations. The role is responsible for aligning mkt demand, production capacity, material procurement, and delivery schedules to achieve on-time production, optimal inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling

· Develop production plans and detailed manufacturing schedules based on Mkt demand, sales forecasts, and available production capacity.

· Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to the approved production plan.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and meet delivery targets.

Material Planning & Inventory Management

· Ensure timely availability of materials to support production requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to prevent shortages and excess inventory.

· Execute MRP activities and track material requirements against production schedules for daily/weekly/monthly.

Production Control & Reporting

· Track production status, material availability, and delivery performance through daily and weekly reviews.

· Prepare management reports on production achievement, inventory status, shortages, and delivery commitments.

· Analyze planning variances and implement corrective actions.





· Support current product introductions and production ramp-up activities

MBOM Creation & ECN/ECR

· Create and maintain MBOM from released EBOM for all product variants and configurations along with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and PP teams for MBOM creation and updates through PLM.

· Ensure complete alignment between EBOM, MBOM, routing, and production processes

· Ensure SAP master data is updated and maintained with the latest MBOM revisions.

· Conduct periodic audits of MBOM accuracy and resolve BOM discrepancies impacting production or material planning

· Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Suppliers for timely implementation of approved ECNs/ECRs.

· Develop and maintain ECN implementation plans, including effective dates, phase-in/phase-out activities, and stock disposition.

· Track material availability and procurement readiness for revised parts/components.

· Monitor and control obsolete inventory arising from engineering changes and drive effective utilization plans along with smooth transition.

· Ensure BOM, routing, SAP master data, and production documentation are updated in line with approved engineering changes.

· Coordinate validation builds, pilot production, and change implementation activities with all stakeholders.
