Job Title: Merchandiser

Reports to: Head of Merchandising/Export Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our hand embroidery export company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the merchandising activities for hand embroidery products, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance with buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Development: Work with designers and production team to develop new hand embroidery products, ensuring they meet buyer requirements and company standards.
- Order Management: Manage orders from receipt to shipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with buyer specifications.
- Supplier Management: Source and manage suppliers of raw materials, ensuring quality, price, and lead time meet company requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality of hand embroidery products, conducting regular inspections and audits to meet buyer standards.
- Communication: Liaise with buyers, designers, production team, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Costing and Pricing: Calculate costs and prices of hand embroidery products, ensuring competitiveness in the market.
- Inventory Management:



Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, including social and environmental responsibility.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the textile or embroidery industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of hand embroidery products, textile industry, and export procedures.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with merchandising software would be an advantage.
