About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SoC RTL Integration Engineer to drive IP and subsystem integration, develop top-level RTL wrappers, and ensure seamless connectivity across SoC components. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in RTL integration, bus protocols, high-speed IPs, and static design checks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

Development

- Develop and review software high-level and low-level requirements, architecture, and design.
- Implement embedded software in C/C++ and Ada (SPARK a plus) to project coding standards (e.g., MISRA C, Ada restrictions profiles).
- Support integration on the target (RTOS/BSP, drivers, hardware interfaces) and resolve problem reports.

Verification and validation

- Develop requirements-based test cases and procedures at unit, software integration, and hardware/software integration levels.
- Build and execute unit tests and structural coverage analysis (statement, decision, MC/DC) appropriate to DAL.
- Use LDRA, RTRT, or equivalent tools for static analysis, unit testing, and coverage. Develop target deployment ports so tests and coverage run on real hardware.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability: system requirements → software requirements → design → code → tests → results.




- Define the functional test strategy, including test environments, tool use, and coverage closure (analysis of unexecuted code, deactivated code, and dead code).
- Develop the IV&V; strategy for LRUs, including independence arrangements for DAL A/B.

Process and certification

- Author and maintain DO-178C life cycle data: PSAC, SDP, SVP, SCMP, SQAP, SVCP, SVR, and SAS.
- Support SOI audits and liaison with certification authorities and DERs.
- Support tool qualification per DO-330 where required.
- Perform peer reviews and change impact analysis, and manage problem reports under configuration control.

Required qualifications

- BE/Mtech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of embedded software development or verification in C and/or C++, with 2+ years of Ada.
- Working knowledge of DO-178C and its objectives by DAL, including independence and structural coverage criteria.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience with LDRA and/or RTRT for unit testing and coverage.
- Experience writing unit tests for DAL A/B/C software and achieving MC/DC where required.
- Experience with requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Polarion) and configuration management (Git, ClearCase, SVN).
- Strong written communication for process and test documentation.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with VectorCAST, Parasoft, or GNAT tools; SPARK/formal methods.
- Experience with DO-330 tool qualification and DO-331/332/333 supplements.
- Knowledge of ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-254 (hardware interfaces), and DO-297 (IMA).
- RTOS experience (e.g., VxWorks 653, INTEGRITY, PikeOS, ARINC 653) and ARINC 429/664 or MIL-STD-1553 interfaces.
- Prior work on LRU-level HW/SW integration test benches.
- Experience leading verification teams or acting as a verification lead for certification programs.
