What is this role really about? Creativity, first and foremost. We are hiring for the person who finds the angle nobody else in the room saw, and then lands it in language clean enough to publish without a second pair of hands. Fluency is common. Ideas are not. There are two halves to the job. The writer half produces work across several clients who sound nothing like each other.

The editor half matters more to us: taking a draft, whether it came from a colleague or from an AI tool, and making it correct, specific and worth a client's time. Craft at the sentence level counts here. Rhythm, precision, the right word rather than the nearest one, and an eye for how a piece reads once it is laid out on a page or a slide. We need someone who can tell the difference between writing that sounds good and writing that says something. What will you do?

- Write social copy and captions across client accounts, holding each client's voice rather than one house tone.
- Bring concepts, not only copy. Campaign ideas, content formats, series that can run for a quarter.
- Write SEO blogs and long-form, researched properly, with claims you can point to a source for.
- Write scripts for reels, videos and podcasts, including hooks that work in the first three seconds.
- Draft and edit client-facing documents: proposal sections, decks, one-pagers.
- Edit other people's drafts, including AI output, and be able to say what you changed and why.
- Fact-check before publishing. If a claim cannot be substantiated, flag it rather than softening it. - One to three years writing professionally, agency, in-house or freelance.

- Working understanding of SEO: search intent, structure, internal linking. We do not need a specialist.
- The ability to take a correction without rewriting the whole thing from scratch. What will make you stand out?
- You cut your own writing hard. Most people cannot.
- Finesse. You read the piece once more for rhythm after it is already correct.
- You ask what a piece is for before asking how long it should be.
- You have written in a sector you knew nothing about, and got it right by researching properly.
- You notice when a brief contradicts itself, and raise it before you start. How do we work with AI? We use AI tools and we expect you to. Research, outlines, first drafts, alternative headlines, all fair game and all encouraged. What we do not accept is AI output sent as finished work. If a tool wrote your draft, you remain responsible for whether the facts are true, whether the structure serves the reader, whether it sounds like the client, and whether it says anything at all. You should be able to show us the draft you started from and explain what you changed. If you cannot explain the change, you did not make it.
