About the role -
This is a growth role with a number attached. You’ll own how many top-tier campuses we reach, how positive those events are, and how many exceptional applicants they bring into the
Postgraduate Program funnel.
What you’ll own The campus calendar. You’ll decide which campuses, which formats and which moments matter, and build the annual plan to reach target flagship campus events across tier-one institutions.
The experience. Founder sessions, masterclasses, case and startup challenges,
student-led summits: whatever format earns attention at a campus where students have seen everything. Every event should feel premium, sharp and unmistakably Masters’ Union.
The relationships. Deans, placement and career cells, faculty, and student bodies and clubs. You’ll become the person a campus calls when it wants something worth hosting.
The funnel. Every event has one job: to move the best students toward applying. You’ll design the follow-up from the first invitation to the post-event conversation, and work with
Admissions so that no strong lead goes cold.
The team and the machine. You’ll lead a small team and the vendors around it, and build the playbook that lets us repeat what works. Registrations, communication, logistics and reporting should run so cleanly that you can spend your time on the campuses that matter most.
What success looks like
● Build something that travels. We don’t want fifty one-off events. We want a signature format, with a name, a point of view and a run-of-show, that works the same way at the first campus and the fortieth. You’ll design that IP: a flagship experience that students recognise and talk about, backed by a playbook covering the pitch to the campus, the format, the speakers, the registration-to-follow-up funnel and the vendor and team checklist.
Then you’ll pilot it, find what breaks, tighten it and train a team to run it without you in the room. Your success is measured by whether the tenth event is better than the first, and whether it needs less of you to run.●
Year one: [X] events across [Y] tier-one campuses, [Z]% registration-to-attendance,
[N] qualified applications attributable to campus events, and a repeatable playbook the team runs without you in the room. (to be defined once onboarded)
You’ll thrive here if
● You have 2-5 years in campus outreach, admissions, events, student communities or education/edtech growth, and have led or built a team.
● You’ve run events where something broke on the day and you fixed it before anyone noticed.
● You can walk into a dean’s office and a student club meeting on the same day and be credible in both.
● You think in funnels: you know your registration, attendance and conversion numbers without looking them up.
● You care about the details students notice: the invite, the room, the speaker’s first two minutes, the follow-up message.
● You’re comfortable being measured on outcomes and travelling to get them.
