We are looking for an accomplished academic leader to serve as Dean – Academics and lead the institution's academic strategy, quality and continuous transformation.

Desired Profile

- Ph.D. from a reputed institution such as IISc, IITs, BITS Pilani, leading NITs or a reputed international university is preferred.
- 15+ years of academic experience with a strong track record in teaching, research and academic leadership.
- Currently serving or having served as a Professor / senior academic leader in a reputed engineering institution.
- Strong experience in academic administration, curriculum development and institutional academic planning.
- Demonstrated experience in leading departments, academic schools, programmes or major academic initiatives.
- Strong record of research publications, funded projects, Ph.D. supervision and academic contributions.
- Experience with NAAC, NBA, NIRF, ABET or other national/international quality and accreditation frameworks.
- Robust understanding of outcome-based education, academic quality systems and continuous improvement.
- Experience in building strong industry-integrated and interdisciplinary academic programs.
- Exposure to emerging areas such as AI, semiconductors, robotics, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, sustainability and other future technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the institution's academic strategy and long-term academic roadmap.




- Drive academic excellence, quality assurance and continuous improvement across departments.
- Lead curriculum development and periodic academic restructuring aligned with industry, research and emerging technologies.
- Strengthen outcome-based education, experiential learning, project-based learning and interdisciplinary education.
- Develop systems for faculty recruitment, development, performance evaluation and academic leadership.
- Promote faculty engagement in research, consultancy, industry projects and international collaborations.
- Strengthen Ph.D., postgraduate and undergraduate academic programs.
- Drive academic accreditation and quality initiatives including NBA, NAAC, NIRF and relevant international frameworks.
- Establish robust systems for academic planning, monitoring, assessment and student progression.
- Strengthen industry-integrated education, internships, live projects and professional certifications.
- Promote international academic collaborations, student mobility and joint academic programs.
- Encourage multidisciplinary programs and new-age academic offerings aligned with emerging technologies.
- Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to establish academic KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Build a culture of academic integrity, innovation, research and continuous improvement.
- Represent the institution at leading academic, professional and higher-education forums.
