Role Description The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing all banquet operations, ensuring events are planned and executed smoothly from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. This full-time, in office role in Muzaffarnagar includes coordinating with clients to understand event requirements, preparing detailed function plans, and managing setups for meetings, weddings, and other functions.

The Banquet

Manager supervises banquet staff, assigns duties, and monitors service to maintain quality standards in food and beverage presentation and guest experience. The role also involves close collaboration with the kitchen, front office, and sales teams, managing inventory and equipment for banquet areas, and resolving guest concerns promptly. Daily tasks include reviewing event orders, conducting pre-event briefings, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards,



and maintaining accurate records of events and revenues.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to manage guest expectations and handle feedback professionally.
- Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to coordinate with guests, staff, and other departments.
- Practical knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including banquet service standards, menu understanding, and coordination with culinary teams.
- Experience with Hiring and supervising staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight in a banquet or hospitality environment.
- Prior experience as a Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager, or in a similar hospitality supervisory role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in planning and executing multiple events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of basic budgeting, cost control, and inventory management for banquet operations.
- Familiarity with event management or hotel management systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
