We are seeking a skilled Automotive Lighting Design Engineer with strong expertise in CATIA V5, Generative Shape Design (GSD) and advanced surface modelling. The candidate should have experience in plastic product design, manufacturing processes and automotive lighting components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex surfaces and 3D models using CATIA V5, with a robust focus on GSD and surface modelling.
- Design plastic components for automotive lighting applications.
- Apply knowledge of plastic product design, tooling and manufacturing feasibility.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and design rules.
- Prepare and interpret technical reports, engineering documents and presentations.
- Identify design issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing and design teams.
- Support design reviews and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Automotive lighting design experience
- Knowledge of lighting components and design requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Eligibility
- BE/B.Tech degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product design.
- Strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 surfacing and GSD.
