About the Role

Skyfer Logistic is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Ocean Export Pricing Executive to support our growing USA operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive ocean freight quotations, coordinating with shipping lines and overseas partners, and ensuring profitable and timely pricing solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage ocean export quotations for USA-bound shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, and service providers to secure competitive rates and space allocations.
- Maintain and update freight rate sheets, carrier tariffs, surcharges, and contract pricing.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide cost-effective routing and transit solutions.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure pricing accuracy and operational feasibility.
- Monitor market trends, vessel capacity, port congestion, and freight rate fluctuations.
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines and vendors to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure all quotations comply with customer requirements, company SOPs, and service commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, carrier agreements, and pricing activities.
- Support strategic pricing initiatives across USA trade lanes.

Requirements

- 1-4 years of experience in Ocean Export Pricing, Freight Forwarding, or International Logistics.
- Solid hands-on experience in Freight Forwarding is mandatory.
- Intensive knowledge of ocean freight forwarding processes, carrier pricing structures, vessel routing, and international logistics operations is required.




- Strong understanding of ocean freight pricing components, including ocean freight, BAF, CAF, PSS, GRI, THC, documentation charges, destination charges, and other applicable surcharges.
- Familiarity with USA trade lanes, shipping line networks, and port operations.
- Knowledge of FCL, LCL, buyer consolidation, and direct consolidation shipments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software platforms.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with USA agents, overseas partners, or international customers.
- Knowledge of carrier contract management and vendor negotiations.
- Experience with CargoWise or similar freight management systems.
- Familiarity with major shipping lines including Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, COSCO, Evergreen, and Yang Ming.
- Candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less will be given preference.
