JOB SUMMARY

MK Cleanroom Projects (MKCRP) is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Design Head (Cleanroom & Lab Furniture) to manage design planning, technical drawings, project coordination, client approvals, and engineering activities related to cleanroom systems, laboratory furniture, and modular furniture projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. DESIGN & ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES

- Lead overall design activities for cleanroom and lab furniture projects
- Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and design concepts
- Ensure designs are prepared as per project requirements and standards
- Coordinate cleanroom panels, ceilings, doors, pass boxes, and lab furniture designs
- Review project specifications and technical requirements

2. DRAWING & TECHNICAL COORDINATION

- Supervise preparation of GA drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings
- Coordinate drawing approvals with clients and consultants
- Ensure timely submission and revision of drawings
- Support technical discussions and design clarifications
- Verify technical accuracy and feasibility of designs

3. PROJECT & EXECUTION COORDINATION

- Coordinate with Projects, Production, Sales, and Estimation departments




- Support execution team with technical guidance and site coordination
- Resolve design-related issues during production and installation
- Coordinate site modifications and project changes if required
- Ensure smooth workflow between design and execution teams

4. LAB FURNITURE & CLEANROOM DESIGN SUPPORT

- Design laboratory furniture layouts and modular furniture systems
- Coordinate material specifications and hardware selection
- Support production team for fabrication and installation drawings
- Ensure ergonomic and functional design standards
- Maintain quality and practical feasibility of designs

5. TEAM MANAGEMENT

- Supervise design engineers and drafting team
- Allocate design tasks and monitor work progress
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables
- Maintain department discipline and reporting structure
- Support technical training and team development activities

6. DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING

- Maintain design records and drawing documentation
- Prepare project design updates and reports
- Maintain drawing revision and approval records
- Support management reporting activities
- Ensure proper documentation control procedures

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Knowledge

- Cleanroom system design concepts
- Lab furniture and modular furniture design
- Technical drawing and layout preparation




- Material and hardware selection knowledge
- Engineering coordination and project design
- Drawing approval and documentation process

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

- AutoCAD mandatory
- MS Excel mandatory
- MS Word mandatory
- 3D design software knowledge preferred
- SketchUp / SolidWorks / Revit knowledge preferred

AutoCAD & Design Software Knowledge

- Experience in cleanroom and lab furniture projects preferred
- Ability to independently manage design department activities
- Strong technical coordination and leadership ability
- Experience in project-based industry preferred

SIGNIFICANT NOTE

The responsibilities mentioned above may be modified or expanded based on company requirements, operational needs, and management decisions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,890.12 per month
