We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with robust working knowledge of Tally to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves handling books of accounts, statutory compliance, vendor/customer accounting, and supporting financial reporting in line with company policies and Indian accounting standards.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime) :
- Record purchase, sales, journal, cash, and bank entries
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and basic compliance
- Manage accounts payable & receivable and follow up on outstanding dues
- Prepare basic MIS reports and support audits
