Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

- Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and clinical demonstrations for M.Sc. Radiology & Imaging Technology students.
- Advanced Radiographic Techniques
- CT Imaging
- MRI Technology
- Ultrasound Imaging
- Interventional Radiology
- Radiation Physics & Protection
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Ensure completion of syllabus as per academic calendar.

2. Clinical Training & Lab Supervision

- Supervise students during clinical postings in hospitals/diagnostic centers.
- Train students in handling imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, USG, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.

3. Research & Academic Development

- Guide postgraduate dissertations/research projects
- Publish research papers in indexed journals.
- Promote evidence-based practice and innovation in imaging technology.

4. Curriculum & Program Development

- Contribute to syllabus design and updates as per industry standards.
- Introduce new imaging techniques and emerging technologies.




- Support accreditation and regulatory documentation.

5. Assessment & Examination

- Conduct internal assessments, viva voce, and practical examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and maintain academic records.

6. Administrative Responsibilities

- Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
- Assist in admission counseling, orientation, and academic mentoring.
- Support university events, workshops, and conferences.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification :

- M.Sc. in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology / Radiography / Radiological Sciences.
- Ph.D. in relevant field (preferred).

Experience :

- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching/clinical experience for Assistant Professor level.
- Prior experience in hospital imaging departments preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of radiological imaging modalities.
- Hands-on expertise in CT, MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound.
- Understanding of radiation safety and regulatory norms.
- Good teaching, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Research aptitude and publication record (preferred).
- Proficiency in academic documentation and digital teaching tools.
