We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our cross functional Agile team.As a Senior Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge on-premises appliance based and cloud-based email security products. You will be working closely with product managers, customers, and developers to design, develop, test, and deliver current and innovative features in a continuous delivery model. influencing architectural decisions and technology roadmaps.- Contributing to a supportive and inclusive team culture that values diverse perspectives and fosters creativity.- Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities into our systems to drive automation, intelligent threat detection, and advanced product features.What You Bring to the Role :- Experience : 6 to 8+ years in software development in PERL/C/C++- Database Proficiency : Strong knowledge of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL, including optimization techniques.- DevOps and CI/CD : Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and version control systems like GitHub.- Debugging Skills : Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting using tools such as GDB, and Strace.- System Knowledge : Familiarity with Linux operating systems and networking protocols (e.g., SMTP, DNS, TLS).- Development Practices : Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.Additional Skills :1. Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX) is advantageous.2. Experience in email security, cloud-connected appliances, or network security is beneficial.3. Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl, Python, or Bash.4.
