Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist – Cataract / Phaco & Medical Retina

Required Skills
Expertise in Cataract Surgery / Phacoemulsification.
Experience in comprehensive ophthalmology OPD.
Working knowledge and clinical skills in Medical Retina.
Ability to evaluate and manage common retinal conditions.
Capability to independently handle cataract evaluation, surgery and post-operative follow-up.
Qualification
MS/DNB/Diploma in Ophthalmology or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive ophthalmology OPD consultations.
Perform cataract evaluation and phacoemulsification surgeries.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative cataract patients.
Diagnose and manage common medical retinal conditions.
Provide appropriate treatment and follow-up for retinal patients.
Perform routine ophthalmic examinations and investigations.




Counsel patients regarding surgical and medical treatment options.
Maintain accurate clinical and surgical records.
Coordinate with OT and clinical support teams.
Candidate Profile
Consultant Ophthalmologist with robust Phaco/Cataract surgery skills.
Medical Retina experience/skills are required.
Good clinical judgement and surgical expertise.
Strong patient communication and counselling skills.
Candidates residing in South Bengaluru or nearby areas will be preferred.
