Partner with business users, Functional BAs, and development teams to deliver solutions for Fixed Income and other business areas.
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and developers, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and priorities.
Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL for requirement validation, troubleshooting, reconciliations, and root cause analysis.
Perform data analysis and troubleshooting of XML payloads, interface messages, and system integrations to support issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Develop and execute functional, integration, and UAT test cases; Maintain project documentation, process flows, data mappings, and knowledge repositories.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within enterprise applications.

- Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis, reconciliations, and issue investigation.
- Strong understanding of XML technologies (XML, XSD, XPath) with experience analyzing XML payloads
- Proven experience translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and JIRA user stories.




- Experience working closely with software development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Trading, or Regulatory Reporting is desirable.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve analysis, testing, documentation, and delivery efficiency.

Knowledge of Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Trading, Regulatory Reporting, and financial messaging standards such as FpML (Financial Products Markup Language), FIX Protocol, ISO 20022, or SWIFT message formats is highly desirable.

A technically strong Business Analyst who combines deep SQL and data analysis skills with the ability to bridge business and technology teams, create developer-ready requirements, support delivery through testing, and drive successful project outcomes.
