About the Role: Applications Engineer
The Applications Engineer will support global sales and technical teams by developing competitive, technically sound proposals and ensuring smooth project handover. This role involves application engineering, cost estimation, tendering, technical sales support and working with PLC systems and electrical panels.
Sales & Technical Support
Develop competitive technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
Work across multiple time zones with sales, engineering, and project teams.
Define project scope clearly for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Prepare accurate cost estimates in line with contractual obligations and local regulations.
Prepare and issue proposal documentation and pre-award project support packages.
Project Handover
~ Consolidate commercial and technical documentation for seamless handover to operations and project execution teams.





Contribute ideas that improve proposal quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering
- 3–5 years of qualified experience in engineering or a related industry.
- Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation systems is required.
- Basic to intermediate cyber security knowledge is advantageous.
- Exposure to CAD software is beneficial but not essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experienced in coordinating with stakeholders including port operators, consultants, contractors, sales teams, engineers, agents, and international colleagues.
