Experience :
7+ Years of relevant experience.
The Technical Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end technical implementation of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric governance capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in data governance , Microsoft Purview configuration , Microsoft Fabric integration , and workflow automation using Power Automate and related Microsoft technologies. The consultant will work closely with the Solution Architect, client stakeholders, and governance teams to deliver actionable governance frameworks, technical configurations, and operational playbooks.

Microsoft Purview Setup & Configuration
Register and scan data sources (Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse, Fabric workspaces).
Configure Unified Catalog domains and data products.
Enable data lineage for pipelines and validate lineage completeness.




Implement RBAC and role group configurations for governance roles.
Set up Reports/Health dashboards and automate governance monitoring.
Microsoft Fabric Integration
Connect and configure Microsoft Fabric tenant for governance readiness.
Integrate Purview workflows with Fabric tasks for automated data access approvals.
Configure governance for OneLake , Lakehouse , Warehouse , Dataflows , and Power BI artifacts .
Implement shortcuts and mirroring governance for unified data access.
Monitor governance posture using Purview Hub and Fabric governance insights.
Required Skills & Experience:
~ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Unified Catalog, Data Map, RBAC, lineage).
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric :
Lakehouse and Warehouse configuration.
Power BI governance and integration with Purview.
Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS).
Understanding of data governance principles, sensitivity labelling, DLP policies, and compliance frameworks.
Ability to work in a client-facing role and manage offshore delivery effectively.
