Job Title: Head, Sales & Marketing (Domestic) Reports to: Executive Director
Experience: 15 - 25 years
Our client is looking for a visionary and result-oriented Head Sales & Marketing (Domestic) to lead and scale their sales operations in the starch and derivatives industry. The role demands strategic leadership, strong market insight, and the ability to drive revenue growth across domestic and international markets in food & beverages,
pharmaceuticals, paper, packaging, textiles, and allied industries.

Define and execute sales & marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sale & marketing team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, industry bodies, and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and business risks.
- Collaborate with R&D;, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure customer-centric solutions.
- Oversee pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, and credit management.




- Provide inputs for branding, product positioning, and promotional activities to enhance market visibility.
- Present periodic business reviews, forecasts, and growth plans to the management team.

Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Food Technology / Chemistry / Commodity - Sales background preferred).

- 15 - 25 years of progressive experience in sales & marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in commodities business, food/pharma ingredients, or allied industries.
- Solid expertise in B2B industrial sales and domestic business development.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with analytical ability to drive data-based decisions.
- Ability to travel extensively across domestic markets and plants.
