About Fabric Fabric is an AI hiring platform. Companies use our AI interviews, sourcing agents, and cheating detection to screen and hire at scale. We're four founders who've known each other since college, building since early 2025. Fabric is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can own product features end-to-end, from design through delivery. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building reliable backend systems, shipping thoughtful frontend experiences, and working in a fast-moving product environment.
You will work across the stack, with a strong focus on Python and Django , while also contributing to frontend development using React and Node.js . Own full product features from design through delivery.
Build backend services using Python, Django, and Celery .
Develop frontend experiences using React and Node.js .
Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ship reliable features.
Contribute to architecture, implementation, testing, and production readiness of product modules.
Strong hands-on experience with Python .
Robust hands-on experience with Django .
Ability to independently own and ship complete features or modules.
Experience working in early- to mid-stage product companies.
Solid understanding of backend engineering and API development.





Experience with Celery .
Experience with asynchronous job processing or background workers.
Experience with distributed systems.
Frontend development experience with React .
Experience with Node.js .
Experience working in startup or product engineering environments.

Desired Experience

- 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience working in early- to mid-stage product companies.
- Demonstrated ownership of full features, independently delivered modules, or startup-style generalist product engineering work.
- Experience building scalable backend services and contributing across the stack.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack or backend-leaning product engineer who has worked in a product company, preferably at an early- to mid-stage startup.
