Cencora seeks an Oracle Database Administrator to manage SAP and Non-SAP Oracle database environments, including installation, performance optimization, and 24/7 support. The role requires deep expertise in Exadata infrastructure, Data Guard, RMAN backup strategies, and Oracle RAC clusters, with at least 5–8 years of hands-on DBA experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for Oracle database issues and infrastructure troubleshooting

Manage database performance, capacity planning, tuning, and monitoring across production and non-production environments

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on Exadata; perform backups, clones, and disaster recovery drills

Administer Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and standby database configurations

Provide 24/7 on-call support, participate in change management,



and escalate critical issues to Oracle support

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 5–8 years skilled Oracle database administration experience with SAP and Non-SAP databases
- Proficiency with Oracle 12c to 19c on Exadata environment
- Expertise in Data Guard, RMAN backup, database cloning, and ZDLRA appliance
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Exadata architecture and features
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13cR5 and performance tuning (AWR, ASH, ADDM)
- Familiarity with patching, clustering utilities, and Oracle support escalation processes
