Job Purpose:
~ Support the structural design team in coordinating, reviewing, and executing engineering aspects of Embassy projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing structural design documentation for internal reviews and presentations.
Support the senior engineering team in analyzing structural systems using software tools.
Help track design deliverables and timelines to ensure project milestones are met.
Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to gather technical data and specifications.
Participate in quality checks and audits of structural works at project sites.
Assist in preparing responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical queries from contractors.
Contribute to research and benchmarking of innovative structural materials and technologies.
Help prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs for structural components.
Maintain organized records of correspondence, drawings, and approvals for audit and reference.
Support sustainability and safety initiatives in structural design and execution.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering
- 10 years of proven experience in structural engineering (internships or project experience preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Basic understanding of structural design principles and construction methods
Familiarity with building codes and standards
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, SECURE)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
