We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, SQL/PLSQL, and scripting . The role focuses on developing and supporting cloud-based data solutions while working with GCP data services, relational databases, and data processing tools in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Job Description
The role involves working with GCP BigQuery and cloud data platforms to develop and maintain data solutions. Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery scripting or Cloud SQL, along with advanced SQL/PLSQL and shell scripting or Python, is required.
The engineer will work with relational databases and may contribute to data engineering workflows using services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Dataform. The role also involves supporting operational processes and collaborating within multidisciplinary Agile and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data solutions using GCP BigQuery and Cloud SQL
Write and optimize complex SQL/PLSQL scripts
Develop automation and data processing scripts using Shell scripting or Python
Work with relational database management systems
Support data engineering workflows using GCP data services
Work with Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataflow, and Dataform
Troubleshoot and support data-related incidents and production issues
Collaborate with Agile and DevOps teams on changes, incidents, and problem management
