Job Title: Interior Designer*

Experience:* 4 – 5 Years

Employment Type:* Full-time | Office + Site Based

Work Timing:* Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

- Hiring a *creative and detail-driven Interior Designer* for our Chennai-based interior contracting firm. You will handle residential & commercial projects from concept to execution, work closely with clients, vendors, and site teams to deliver high-quality interiors on time and within budget.
- Concept & Design*: Develop design concepts, mood boards, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations based on client brief and site requirements
- Client Presentations*: Meet clients, understand requirements, present design options, material boards, and BOQs for approval
- Working Drawings*: Prepare detailed GFC drawings, joinery details, electrical, plumbing, and false ceiling layouts for site execution
- Material Selection*: Select finishes, laminates, veneers, tiles, fabrics, lighting, and hardware within budget. Site Coordination*: Conduct site visits, resolve design issues on site, ensure execution matches design intent and quality standards
- BOQ & Costing*: Assist in preparing BOQs, material estimates,



and vendor rate comparisons for project costing
- Vendor Follow-up*: Coordinate with carpenters, civil team, electricians, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and work
- Project Tracking*: Maintain project timelines, update clients on progress, and support project manager during handover
- Education*: Diploma/B.Sc/B.Des in Interior Design or Architecture
- Experience*: 4-5 years in interior contracting/design firms. *Site execution experience mandatory*
- Software*: AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, Photoshop. Skills*: Valuable design sense, client communication, vendor coordination, time management
- Other*: Should be willing to travel to client sites across Chennai. Work on premium residential, office, and retail interior projects
