Role Description: Academic CounsellorWe are looking for a confident, target-driven, and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team in Kozhikode. This role combines student counselling, sales, admission closing, and academic coordination.

The counsellor will connect with prospective students and parents, understand their career goals, explain our training programs, and guide them towards the right course. With industry-focused training programs from THYNCK and SAPAIN, the role offers an chance to help students build practical skills while achieving admission and sales targets.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a salary plus performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound leads.
- Conduct counselling sessions and meetings with students and parents.
- Understand student interests, career goals, and training requirements.
- Explain THYNCK's Digital Marketing programs and SAPAIN's AI training programs.
- Follow up with leads through calls and other communication channels.
- Convert interested prospects into confirmed admissions and achieve assigned targets.




- Coordinate with students regarding class schedules, course updates, and academic activities.
- Send timely reminders about classes, sessions, assignments, and other academic updates.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding fee payment updates and pending fee follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate lead records, counselling details, follow-up status, and admission data.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both English and Malayalam.
- Strong student counselling and coordination skills.
- Sales and admission-closing skills.
- Confidence in conducting conversations and meetings with students and parents.
- Good follow-up skills and the ability to convert leads into admissions.
- Target-oriented mindset with a focus on results.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in maintaining records and reports.
- Experience in academic counselling, educational sales, or student admissions is an advantage.
