Role Description The Construction Site Storekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and safely storing construction materials, tools, and equipment as they arrive on site. The Storekeeper maintains accurate inventory records, issues materials as per approved requests, and monitors stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.

Daily tasks include packing and labeling items, coordinating with suppliers and site supervisors, checking delivery documents against purchase orders, and ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized store area, following safety procedures,



and supporting periodic stock audits and reports for project management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in inventory control and inventory management to maintain accurate stock records and support material planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in unloading and forklift operation to safely handle incoming materials and move items within the site store.
- Candidates should possess skills in packing and basic material handling to protect materials from damage and ensure easy identification and retrieval.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, and site safety practices is beneficial.
- Ability to use inventory or ERP software, spreadsheets, and handheld devices for record-keeping is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with site engineers, supervisors, and vendors.
- Prior experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or in a similar role in construction or industrial environments is an advantage.
- Minimum high school education; vocational or technical training in storekeeping, logistics, or material management is a plus.
