We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Dean – MBA to lead the complete MBA programme, including academics, faculty management, teaching, student development and departmental activities.

The candidate must be capable of taking ownership of the programme and delivering measurable improvements in academic quality, student performance, industry engagement and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the overall planning, delivery and administration of the MBA programme.

· Prepare and monitor academic calendars, timetables, faculty allocations, course plans and teaching schedules.

· Personally teach management subjects in the candidate’s area of specialisation.

· Ensure effective syllabus coverage, quality classroom delivery and practical learning through case studies, projects, presentations and business simulations.

· Lead curriculum development and review within the institute’s autonomous framework, aligning learning with industry requirements.

· Monitor student attendance, academic progress, discipline and engagement, and implement timely corrective measures.

· Organise guest lectures, industry visits, workshops, management events, certification programmes and other student development activities.

· Strengthen industry relationships for live projects, internships, expert sessions and collaborative learning.

· Work closely with the placement team to improve students’ communication, professional skills,



interview readiness and employability.

· Oversee assessments, examinations, evaluation, academic records and programme documentation.

· Ensure compliance with applicable university, regulatory and accreditation requirements.

· Encourage faculty research, publications, professional development and innovative teaching practices.

· Coordinate with admissions and marketing teams to communicate the programme’s strengths and support prospective student interactions.

· Submit regular reports to management covering academic progress, faculty performance, student outcomes and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

· MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Management, along with a Ph.D. in Management or a relevant discipline.

· Preferably 5 or more years of relevant experience, including substantial teaching experience and academic leadership responsibility.

· Prior experience as a Dean, Head of Department or MBA Programme Head in a recognised institution or university will be preferred.

· Proven ability to manage an MBA programme, lead faculty teams and improve academic and student outcomes.

· Solid knowledge of outcome-based education, curriculum planning, academic processes and accreditation requirements.

· Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring and administrative skills.

· Candidates must meet the applicable regulatory eligibility requirements for the position.
