Role Description The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Staff Nurse is a full time remote role responsible for delivering high-quality critical care nursing to patients with life-threatening conditions in coordination with the on-site care team. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications and therapies as directed, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and documenting patient status accurately in electronic health records. The ICU Staff Nurse will provide ongoing assessment,



participate in emergency interventions through tele-support, and support family education regarding patient conditions and care plans.

The role requires adherence to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies while maintaining clear communication with on-site staff and ensuring continuity of intensive care services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Nursing with demonstrated clinical competence in inpatient care.
- Specialized skills in Critical Care Nursing and Critical Care Medicine to manage acutely ill patients.
- Experience or training in Emergency Nursing and Medicine for rapid assessment and intervention.
- Valid nursing license/registration and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prior ICU or high-dependency unit experience preferred, including familiarity with ventilators, infusion pumps, and continuous monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using digital communication and electronic health record systems.
- Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Diploma or degree in Nursing; additional certification in critical care or emergency nursing is an advantage.
