ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage critically ill patients in the ICU with comprehensive clinical care.
2. Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and continuous monitoring.
3. Manage medical and surgical emergencies and initiate timely interventions.
4. Handle ventilated patients, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and multi-organ dysfunction.
5. Perform or supervise relevant critical care procedures as per expertise.
6. Coordinate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare teams.
7. Manage pre-operative and post-operative critical care patients when required.
8. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
9. Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment and prognosis.
10. Follow ICU protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

1. Candidates with recognised Critical Care Medicine fellowships / qualifications may also be considered.
2. Strong skills in ventilator management, resuscitation, emergency care, and critical patient management.
3. Positive communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
