Role Description The Site Projects Head, API, Bidar-Karnataka is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing all project activities related to active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) operations at the Bidar facility. This role includes planning and executing site-wide capital and expansion projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, EHS, and supply chain), and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Head will manage project portfolios, allocate resources, monitor progress, and resolve operational issues to support uninterrupted manufacturing and continuous improvement. Daily responsibilities also include stakeholder communication, risk assessment, vendor management, and reporting project status and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications





- Solid project management and site operations skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.
- Sound knowledge of API manufacturing processes, plant engineering, and facility maintenance in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, EHS, procurement, and supply chain teams.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources, with experience in capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (cGMP, safety, environmental standards) relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, including team management, mentoring, and vendor/contractor coordination.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Prior experience in API or pharma manufacturing project leadership, preferably at a site or plant level.
- Comfort working on-site in Bidar, with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
