Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role oversees the organization’s financial and treasury strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, banking management and capital allocation. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and monitoring key financial metrics to support decision-making.

Finance will collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate investments, optimize costs, manage risks, and align financial plans with long-term business objectives. This role also involves leading and mentoring the finance team,



improving financial processes and systems, and supporting board-level reporting and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in corporate finance leadership roles.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and forecasting to drive budgeting, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, assess risks, and support informed decision-making.
- Proven experience managing finance and treasury teams, with the ability to mentor, delegate, and build high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and treasury management; familiarity with ERP and financial systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership and the board.
- Postgraduate degree or qualified qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field (e.g., MBA, CA, CMA) preferred.
