Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Medical Coder - General Surgery to join our Medical Coding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing patient charts, assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring coding compliance,



and meeting client productivity and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and code patient medical records, operative notes, and diagnosis reports accurately.

Perform coding and auditing activities based on project requirements.

Maintain daily productivity and quality targets as per client expectations.

Monitor and clear pending production reports within stipulated timelines.

Apply client-specific coding guidelines, updates, and instructions during production.

Prepare and maintain coding reports and production trackers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Medical Coding concepts and healthcare documentation.

Experience in General Surgery Coding.

Valuable knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

Ability to interpret medical records and assign accurate codes.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
