About the role

StarZen is hiring a Finance Transformation Manager (Chartered Accountant) to redesign how Finance and Operations work, and then see those designs go live. You will map how each process runs today, decide with Finance leadership what it should become, and write requirements that product and engineering teams can build from. Your success is measured by the change you create: shorter cycle times, less manual effort, fewer errors and stronger controls.

Location: Gurgaon (Sector 65), Delhi NCR - Work from office

Reports to: CFO

What you will do

- Map the as-is process: AP, AR, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, inventory, fulfilment and service delivery, including exceptions, workarounds, approvals and period-end close. Work across the 20+ departments that feed Finance.
- Baseline each process: cycle time, volumes, manual effort, error rates and control gaps, so improvement can be measured.
- Design the to-be process: remove, simplify, then automate, using best practice and technology (including AI and RPA where it truly helps). Agree trade-offs with Finance leadership and reflect them in the internal control framework (ICOFR / IFC).
- Own the Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for the finance transformation backlog and prioritise it by impact and effort.
- Co-own solution design with the AI & Transformation and Product teams, give business sign-off, and track each requirement from BRD to go-live.
- Work with the tech stack: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).




- Deliver measurable benefits, report what was realised after go-live, and brief the CFO monthly.

What we are looking for

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - qualified or CA Final; candidates from premier institutes preferred
- 5–7 years of experience across finance, finance operations, process excellence, ERP implementation or finance transformation
- Background in Big 4 / consulting (risk advisory, finance transformation, process consulting), or an in-house role in finance controllership, shared services (GBS/GCC), process excellence or ERP programmes
- Good understanding of AP, AR, P2P, O2C, R2R, inventory and month-end close, and of internal controls / audit
- Experience mapping and improving processes (Lean / Six Sigma a plus)
- Exposure to an ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle; comfort with Power BI, automation and data tools (no coding needed)
- Experience writing BRDs, functional requirements or process documentation
- Clear communication with senior finance stakeholders and robust ownership

Success in the first 6 months
- Month 1: BRD backlog reviewed and reprioritised with the CFO
- Month 3: As-is maps and baselines signed off for the top 3 processes; first to-be designs agreed
- Month 6: At least 3 redesigned processes live with measured benefit
