Business Development Executive/Senior Executive (2-5 Years)



Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Drive recent client acquisition (B2B, global clients) - Consistently onboard new clients across target markets, with defined monthly/quarterly acquisition goals.
2. Build pipeline across Investment Research, Investment Banking, Data Analytics services
3. Manage end-to-end sales cycle (lead → pitch → closure)
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, ensuring high-quality engagement and long-term partnerships.
5. Contribute to geographical and industry expansion, including success from international travel and conference participation.
6. Utilize various channels, including relevant online platforms, social media, email marketing, networking events, and cold calling, to generate leads.
7. Collaborate with delivery, research, and analytics teams
8. Drive strategic negotiations with clients to ensure mutually beneficial commercial terms while safeguarding organizational interests.
9. Supervise, mentor, and guide the business development team, ensuring alignment with revenue targets, performance metrics, and organizational goals.
10. Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and drive capability-building initiatives to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
11. Target and exceed assigned annual and quarterly revenue targets, with a strong focus on high-value deal closures and sustainable business growth.
12. Reporting to the CEO of the company - Prepare daily sales reports, detailing lead generation activities, pipeline status, conversion rates, and sales performance.

Drive team-level KPIs including target achievement, pipeline generation, and productivity metrics.

Requirements

- MBA/ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 Years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of financial domain or investment research, investment banking, financial model, PE/VC and all our services.
- Excellent verbal communication and English writing skills.
- The candidate should reflect good interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in generating leads and closing deals, preferably in the research and analytics industry
- Familiarity with the latest marketing tools and techniques.

Additional Information: Work Location – Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra
