- Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and chef specifications
- Execute fundamental continental cuisine cooking techniques including sautéing, braising, and sauce preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols




- Assist in the preparation of mise en place for service periods
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, and food processors
- Support senior kitchen staff in plating and presentation of dishes to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes meet quality specifications
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow during service
- Rotate stock and maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Follow all recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines established by the kitchen
