Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that improve product quality and engineering efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in up-to-date automation frameworks, software development practices, and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to lead automation initiatives and mentor team members.

Your role will include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end-to-end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to Support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Develop high-quality automation code using Python and Java.
- Utilize development environments such as PyCharm and Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio for automation development, debugging, and maintenance.




- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Drive automation strategy, standards, and best practices across engineering teams.
- Perform code reviews and ensure maintainability, scalability, and reliability of automation frameworks.
- Analyze automation results, identify failures, and collaborate with development teams to improve product quality.
- Continuously enhance test automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in quality engineering practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve automation effectiveness.

Required Skills
