Work from Office
We have been in the enterprise ATS space for 10 years. Some of the best
companies in the country run their hiring on MyNextHire. Every week our clients
bring us problems: a workflow that does not fit, an approval that stalls, a
report nobody trusts. Most arrive described wrongly. We need someone who finds
the real problem under the stated one and solves that. Not a note-taker. A
problem definer.
What you need to achieve
Own the functional problem definition and solution for every client request
you touch, across presales, implementation and support, so that each problem is
understood correctly the first time: requirements signed off within 5 working
days, calls needed per solution down by a third, and fewer than 1 in 10
solutions reopened after delivery, within 12 months.
How the best people get there
* Get what a client actually needs out of them, by watching how they work and
asking, instead of taking the first answer or the loudest voice
* Separate symptoms from causes, and one tangled request into the two or
three distinct problems inside it
* Write a requirement a client can sign and an engineer can build from, with
the cases where it fails, so nobody comes back to ask what you meant
* Know the product and enterprise hiring well enough to fit the smallest
existing solution before anyone builds something recent, and to say plainly when
nothing fits
* Hold a room with people senior to you: lead with the one sentence that
matters, tell a client when they are confident about the wrong thing, and keep
them
What you can count on
* A senior consultant who owns the client relationship and the commercial
conversation, and who will back your call on the problem
* Delivery, support and product teams who build what you define, and who flag
when a problem needs deeper thinking
* Usage data for every client, so you never have to rely only on what you are
told
* A product with 10 years of enterprise depth, and 10 years of enterprise TA
knowledge the team will actively transfer to you
What you need to be resourceful around
* The problem definition is yours. If we build the wrong thing because the
requirement was wrong, that is on you
* Clients will describe symptoms with confidence. Your job is to find the
cause, even when that slows a conversation down
* You will often be the least experienced person in the room. Your
preparation and your questions have to earn it, not your title
* Three stages, three teams, one problem. Nobody will hand you the context.
You go and get it
Why this is your next move
* In two years you will have defined and solved more real enterprise hiring
problems than most consultants see in ten, across presales, delivery and support
* You learn the product, the domain and the client at the same time, from
people who have done it for a decade
* The requirements you write become the system some of the best TA teams in
the country run on. That is a body of work you can point to
* The people who do this well are the ones we ask to own client relationships
