We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant General to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Maintenance: Manage and oversee the preparation of financial records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with necessary guidelines.
2. Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements, providing valuable insights into the financial status of the company and supporting management in decision-making.
3. Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving any issues promptly.
4. Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards, safeguarding the company’s financial integrity.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to share financial information and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should hold a graduate degree and possess strong analytical skills to interpret financial data efficiently. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team are expected.
