WE'RE HIRING | Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager – Purchase

Experience: 5+ years in Purchasing / Procurement

Upraisal is looking for experienced procurement professionals for a Purchase Manager opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimisation, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Manage vendor relationships, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchase requirements and develop procurement plans.
- Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives, commodity costing, and value engineering.
- Prepare procurement MIS, performance reports, and cost-saving analyses for management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procurement policies and regulations.




- Improve procurement processes and support ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronics.
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the Indian market.
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier development, and negotiation.
- Experience in commodity costing, cost optimisation, and value engineering.
- Positive understanding of vendor management, inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems; knowledge of SAP or Zoho is preferred.
- Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
