Job Title: Transactional Buyer / Procurement Operations Specialist
Location: Pune/Jaipur
Experience: 3-5 Years

Role Summary:
Responsible for executing & supporting day-to-day procurement activities including PO management, supplier follow-ups, and issue resolution to ensure smooth supply continuity to the Site Buyer. This is a transactional procurement role; decision-making andaccountability will remain with the Site Buyer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP from approved PRs (~100 POs/month) • Validate demand, pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines before PO release
- Follow up with suppliers for acknowledgements, alignment to PO dates and expedite deliveries
- Manage inventory planning in SAP using MRP and MD04 for inventory monitoring, safety stock management, supply postponement/expediting, and gap analysis (Move Forward, Postpone, safety stock issues, inventory gaps)
- Maintain accurate order book and resolve operational issues




- Support goods receipt queries and invoice mismatch resolution - price or quantity by coordinating with Finance, Planning, Warehouse, Site Team
- Coordinate with Planning, Suppliers, Finance, and Procurement teams • Scope of work can be extended to CoA uploads, invoice matching in SAP.

Key Skills & Experience:

- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement operations / transactional buying
- Robust SAP MM (PR-to-PO process) knowledge is mandatory
- MS Excel, Outlook, SharePoint • Experience in supplier coordination and expediting
- High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume tasks
- Manufacturing / Supply Chain experience
- Knowledge of MRP & MD04
- Experience with international stakeholders

- Graduate or Diploma or equivalent (non-engineering background preferred)
