Senior Java & Cloud-Native Engineer

Level: Senior (7+ Years)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to build scalable microservices and real-time streaming systems on AWS. You will lead backend development using Java and Spring Boot, manage event-driven pipelines with Kafka, and handle cloud deployments via Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend: Design and deliver high-performance microservices using Java (17+) and Spring Boot.
- Event Streaming: Build event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams).
- Cloud & IaC: Provision and manage AWS resources (EKS, MSK, RDS, S3) using Terraform.
- Containers & Orchestration:



Package applications with Docker and run containerized workloads on Kubernetes (Helm, EKS).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Automate build/deploy pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

Requirements

- Java Stack: 6+ years with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and REST APIs.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with core AWS services and Terraform.
- Containers: Production expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Messaging: Solid understanding of Apache Kafka architecture and patterns.
- Databases: Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL/Caching (Redis, DynamoDB).
