Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer CAD Operator with robust hands-on expertise in EPLAN Electric P8, electrical control panel design, PLC systems and industrial automation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing production-ready electrical drawings, control panel schematics, BOMs and wiring harness drawings, along with supporting system integration, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Create Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics and control panel GA drawings.
- Prepare panel fabrication drawings and production-ready electrical documentation.
- Develop engine wiring harness drawings.
- Design and select electrical components such as PLC, circuit breakers, relays, HMI, sensors, actuators and LV switchgear.
- Configure PLC I/O architecture including DI, DO, AI and AO.
- Prepare and maintain accurate BOMs and project documentation in ERP systems.
- Work on GenSet electrical systems, control architecture and related PLC logic requirements.




- Work with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN Bus and Serial Communication.
- Coordinate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, assembly and testing teams for system integration.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical and hardware issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support continuous improvement, standardization and value engineering activities.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites as required.
