Python Software Developer

Stark Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Python Software Developer to join our Engineering - Software team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role you will design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions that delight our customers. Working closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers, you will help transform ideas into robust applications while growing your own skills in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. We welcome developers with 1-4 years of experience who can join us within a 3-month notice period.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code
- Build data-driven features and services using Pandas and other relevant libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality
- Conduct peer code reviews, share best practices, and mentor junior team members
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Contribute to project planning, sprint estimation, and progress tracking using Agile methodologies
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, frameworks, and tools in Python, Java, and related technologies
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,



or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1-4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with data processing libraries such as Pandas
- Working knowledge of Java for backend or integration tasks
- Experience with at least one Python web framework (eg, Django or Flask)
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (eg, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
- Ability to join within a 3-month notice period and work in office in Pune, Maharashtra

Nice to Have:
- Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for full-stack collaboration
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior experience working in a product-based or fast-growing startup workplace
- Participation in open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio
