- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor high-risk activities, including work at height, hot work, confined space entry, and lifting operations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Inspect fire extinguishers, emergency exits, first-aid facilities, and emergency equipment.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and incident documentation.
- Ensure contractors and workers follow protected work procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills and implement emergency response procedures.
- Report safety violations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
