Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior AR Caller with robust knowledge of US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance follow-ups, and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience handling outstanding claims, resolving denials, communicating with US insurance companies, and ensuring timely claim payments.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up with US insurance companies regarding outstanding medical claims and unpaid balances.
- Handle accounts receivable (AR) follow-ups and ensure timely claim resolution.
- Investigate claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and payment delays.
- Contact insurance companies to verify claim status and determine the reasons for non-payment.
- Identify denial trends and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice).
- Maintain accurate documentation of insurance calls, claim status, and follow-up actions.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, collection, and calling targets.
- Coordinate with the billing, payment posting, and denial management teams to resolve outstanding claims.
- Escalate complex claims and recurring issues to the team lead or manager.
- Support junior AR callers, provide process guidance, and assist with team performance improvement.





Required Qualifications and Skills

- 3+ years of experience in US healthcare medical billing, specifically Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Strong knowledge of US medical billing, insurance follow-ups, and the revenue cycle management process.
- Experience handling claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and aging AR.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Good understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
- Ability to communicate confidently with US insurance representatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Basic knowledge of medical billing systems and claim management tools.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on aged AR and high-value claims.
- Knowledge of denial management and appeals.
- Experience with physician billing, hospital billing, or specialty billing.
- Previous experience guiding junior team members or handling escalations.
