Job Description (JD) – Branch Relationship Manager (BRM) – Business Loans (BL)

Designation:

Branch Relationship Manager (BRM) – Business Loans (BL)

Job Purpose:

To acquire, manage, and grow Business Loan customers through branch banking channels while ensuring achievement of sales targets, portfolio quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves sourcing new customers, cross-selling banking products, and maintaining robust relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and acquire Business Loan customers through branch walk-ins, references, and local market activities.
- Generate leads for Business Loans, Working Capital, LAP, and other business banking products.
- Build and maintain relationships with SME, self-employed, proprietorship, partnership, and corporate customers.




- Conduct customer meetings to understand financial requirements and recommend suitable loan solutions.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and underwriting teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.
- Ensure completion of KYC, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Drive cross-sell opportunities including Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Insurance, and Investment products.
- Monitor portfolio performance and maintain asset quality.
- Track competitors, market trends, and business opportunities in the assigned region.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales, disbursement, and revenue targets.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM preferred.

Experience:

- 2-8 years of experience in Business Loans, SME Lending, LAP, Working Capital, or Retail Asset Sales.
- Experience in branch banking or business banking sales will be preferred.

Required Skills:

- Strong sales and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of Business Loan products and credit assessment.
- Knowledge of local market and business segments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-centric approach with strong networking abilities.
- Ability to work under target-driven environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
