Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, motivated, and career-focused Career Counselor to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students in choosing the right career paths, understanding their academic backgrounds and career aspirations, explaining suitable courses and programs, handling student enquiries, following up with prospective students, and converting interested candidates into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide students and parents regarding career opportunities, suitable courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, skills, and career goals and recommend suitable career-oriented programs.




- Provide career guidance and help students make informed decisions about their education and professional growth.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling and admission process.
- Convert qualified leads and enquiries into successful admissions.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Conduct one-to-one career counselling sessions and provide accurate information about courses and career opportunities.
- Maintain proper records of leads, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in seminars, career guidance sessions, education fairs, and promotional activities when required.
- Stay updated about ELEVEIIM's courses, programs, fees, and admission policies.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in Career Counselling, Education Counselling, Admission Counselling, Student Counselling, Education Sales, or a similar role.




- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in career counselling may also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counselling, convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong lead-conversion and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand students' career aspirations and guide them appropriately.
- Confident and qualified personality.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents over calls and WhatsApp.
- Basic computer knowledge; experience with CRM/lead management systems will be an advantage.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Candidates with a background in Education, Management, Psychology, Sales, or Marketing will be preferred.
