Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, student-focused, and knowledgeable Career Counselor to guide students and young professionals in identifying suitable career opportunities based on their interests, skills, aptitude, academic background, and career aspirations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of different career pathways, and the ability to provide personalized career guidance, counseling, and educational recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with students and parents to understand their academic backgrounds, interests, strengths, and career goals.
- Guide students in selecting appropriate career paths, courses, colleges, universities, and professional programs.
- Conduct career assessments, aptitude tests, personality assessments, and interest-based evaluations.
- Provide information about various career opportunities, emerging industries, educational trends, and job market requirements.
- Help students make informed decisions regarding higher education, professional courses, entrance examinations, and skill development programs.
- Counsel students and parents regarding career-related concerns, academic challenges, and future opportunities.
- Organize career guidance seminars, workshops, webinars, and orientation sessions.
- Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions, student profiles, progress, and follow-ups.
- Follow up with students to monitor their career planning and decision-making progress.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends, admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, and employment opportunities.




- Build solid relationships with educational institutions, colleges, universities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Achieve assigned counseling, student engagement, and enrollment targets, wherever applicable.

- Good knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple students and counseling sessions effectively.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in career counseling, student counseling, academic counseling, or educational consulting.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in student development may also be considered.
