Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with 1–4 years of experience in procurement within the interior design or fit-out industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendors, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining timely supply of goods required for projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

- Source and procure materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings, fabrics, and décor items.
- Identify and evaluate current vendors and suppliers.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Vendor Management

- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation and vendor records are maintained.

Purchase Order Management

- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with warehouse/site teams for material requirements.

Cost Control & Budgeting

- Ensure procurement within approved budgets.




- Analyze cost trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Inventory Coordination

- Work closely with the inventory/store team to track stock levels.
- Avoid overstocking or stock shortages.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and contracts.
- Prepare reports using MS Excel (MIS, cost analysis, vendor comparison sheets).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of interior materials and market rates.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple vendors/projects.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in interior fit-out or construction procurement.
- Familiarity with ERP/software for purchase management.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
