Travel Consultant

Experience: 6 Months 1 Years

Location: Kozhikode, Kerala

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Holiday Sales and Basic Destination Knowledge, and have good knowledge of travel products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer requirements and create suitable travel plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer travel requirements and recommend suitable destinations, packages, and itineraries.
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Prepare and customize domestic and international travel packages.
- Handle flight, hotel, transfer, sightseeing, and other travel arrangements.
- Provide accurate information regarding travel packages, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, and terms.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, DMCs, and other travel partners.
- Maintain proper records of customer inquiries, bookings, payments, and follow-ups.
- Handle customer concerns and provide timely solutions.
- Achieve assigned sales and booking targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Stay updated on travel destinations, offers,



visa requirements, and industry trends.

Requirements

- 6 months – 1 years of experience is required
- Experience in Holiday Sales and Basic Destination Knowledge.
- Good knowledge of domestic and/or international travel destinations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer-handling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work with sales targets and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and travel booking systems.
- Ability to create attractive and cost-effective travel itineraries.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in handling international travel bookings.
- Knowledge of GDS/booking platforms is an advantage.
- Knowledge of visa processing and travel documentation is an added advantage.
- Strong sales and convincing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
